Parking

Limited on-street parking is available near the Bartell Theatre. Parking meters are free after 6 p.m. and on Sundays.

Two City of Madison parking ramps are available within one block of the Bartell Theatre:

1. Capitol Square North Ramp, one half block east of the Bartell.
2. Brayton Lot, a surface lot one block southeast of the Bartell.

Theater and Ticket Information

StageQ is a participating theater company of the Bartell Theatre.

Doors to the Bartell Theatre and box office open 1 hour before show time. Stage doors open for seating 30 minutes before show time.

If available, tickets may be purchased the night of the show. MasterCard and Visa are accepted. To ensure that you have tickets, buy or reserve in advance.

Reserved tickets that are not picked up 15 minutes before a show begins may be sold.

The Bartell Theatre is accessible to people with disabilities.

Coffee, soft drinks, wine, beer, snacks and candy are available for purchase in the lobby, and may be taken into the theater.

Smoking is prohibited in the building.
